Program
Overview

Modules:
The in-person program is delivered within the school context and can also be adapted for online sessions and international collaborations, making it accessible to schools, teachers and families in different contexts.
The presencial program is structured around three modules, each focused on a key area:
o M1: Preventing addictions in the digital age
o M2: Preventing sexual harassment
o M3: Challenging gender stereotypes and understanding our bodies
Each module also includes a talk for families and/or teachers, aimed at strengthening collaboration between the school and the family environment. These sessions are directly connected to the topics addressed in the classroom:
o M1: “Pornography consumption among minors and the importance of affective and sexual education”
o M2: “Sexual harassment among minors”
o M3: “Building respectful relationships: preventing sexual violence”

1
M1: Addiction prevention in the digital age
o We explore one of the most complex and least understood organs in our body: the brain, and promote healthy lifestyle habits to support mental well-being.
o We analyze the new ways in which people relate to one another, reflecting on the importance of having time to think, pause, and even experience boredom.
o We critically reflect on the use of new technologies and work on the importance of setting boundaries. We also introduce the concept of supernormal stimuli.
o We address both substance and behavioral addictions, with a special focus on behavioral addictions such as pornography use (in upper primary, secondary and high school levels). We explore how pornography can affect the brain’s balance and development.
2
M2: Prevention of sexual harassment
o We explore the role of assertiveness and consent, learning how to communicate and interpret both verbal and non-verbal language—key elements for building healthy and respectful relationships, especially in the context of sexuality.
o We reflect on intimacy and emotional connection, and how to build relationships based on respect, trust and mutual care.
o We address self-esteem, the importance of feeling valued and loved, and the role of friendships and family support as foundations of emotional well-being. We also introduce the rights of minors.
o We work on emotional awareness and regulation, learning to identify and express difficult emotions. We also distinguish between secrets and harmful situations (“unsafe secrets”), a key aspect in preventing or stopping situations of sexual harassment.
o With older students (upper primary, secondary and high school), we reflect on friendships and relationships in digital environments. We address online privacy, promote safe and conscious use of digital spaces, and work on the prevention of grooming.
3
M3: Breaking gender stereotypes and getting to know our bodies
o We promote self-esteem, self-awareness and self-acceptance, creating spaces for reflection and personal growth.
o We reflect on social influences on self-image, such as idealized beauty and the rejection of ageing, fostering respect and acceptance.
o We work on emotional intelligence, promoting empathy, respect, responsibility and equality between men and women. We also address intimacy, love and consent.
o We address the diversity of women and men in our society and reflect on how this enriches relationships. We also explore new masculinities and promote respectful and empathetic ways of relating.
o We reflect on social pressure and media influence, and how they shape expectations, labels and gender roles, especially in upper primary, secondary and high school.
o We explore the diversity of family models and the different forms of relationships, reflecting on the diversity of people in our society and encouraging a critical view of gender labels and gender roles that may limit personal development.
o We address physical and emotional changes, affectivity and personal responsibility, promoting a respectful understanding of relationships.
o We explore human reproduction and the life cycle from a contemporary perspective, including reproductive rights in secondary education.
o We clarify key concepts such as puberty, adolescence, sexuality and reproduction, adapting content to each age group.
o We reflect on desire, sexual pleasure and sexual freedom, and analyze how pornography can distort these aspects. We promote respectful, safe and healthy relationships.
o We challenge myths of romantic love and work on identifying and preventing unhealthy relationships, promoting positive and respectful bonds.
